Martha (Patsy) Bloyd

Martha, known as Patsy, was born in 1785 in Rockingham County, North Carolina.¹   Patsy's father was John (The Old Patriarch) Bloyd Sr. and her mother was Mary Riggins.  Her paternal grandparents were John Bloyd and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Levi, John, Thomas, Elijah, Leah, Sarah, Rhoda and Elizabeth.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
