Pinkie Bland 
Pinkie was born on October 1st, 1878 in Orange, Texas. Pinkie's father was Henry Walter Bland and her mother was Rachel Elizabeth Simmons. Her maternal grandparents were Daniel Henry Simmons and Susanah Jemima Harris. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Walter, Lester, Martha Ann, Louvenia and Fannie. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 18 on January 3rd, 1897 in Orange, Texas. She was buried in Orange, Evergreen Cemetery, Texas.-
