Robert Bethune 
Robert was born about 1462 in Raith, Fifeshire, Scotland. Robert's father was John Bethune and his mother was Marjory Boswell. His paternal grandparents were John Bethune and Katherine Stirling. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Andrew, James, Janet, Margaret, Elizabeth, Isabel and Grissel. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
