Jane Bernard 
Jane was born in 1549 in Abington, Northamptonshire, England.1 Jane's father was Francis I Bernard and her mother was Alice Hazelwood. Her maternal grandparents were John Hazelwood and Alice Gascoigne. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Baldwin, Thomas, Francis, Richard, John, Catherine, Anne, Margaret, Magdalen, Dorothy, Prudence and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the thirteen children.-
