Claude Lee Bates 
Claude Lee was born on April 22nd, 1896 in Roff, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, OK and his baptism took place in Death Fact. Claude Lee's father was Millard Fillmore Bates and his mother was Mary Ida Autry. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Walter Autry and Rilla Rogers. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles T., Samuel Walter, Bedford Fillmore, Ollie O., Lottie, Stella May and Ethel Relley. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 88 on February 13th, 1985 in Parsons, Labette Co, KS. He was buried in Bates Cemetery, Konawa, Seminole Co, OK.General Notes
