Elizabeth was born on May 28th, 1650 in New Haven, Connecticut.1 Elizabeth's father was Thomas Barnes and her mother was Mary Andrews. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Barnes and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were John Andrews and Mary. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Daniel, Maybe, Thomas, Ebenezer, Mercy, Martha, Sarah and Abigail. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
