Bessie Baker 
Bessie was born on January 26th, 1896 in Van Buren Co, TN. Bessie's father was James Drew Baker and her mother was Gertrude Mae Davis. Her paternal grandparents were Banjamin Levi Baker and Sarah Emaline Measles. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James Claude, Alonzo, Estol, James Drew, Augustus James, Mamie Elizabeth, Nettie and Rita. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 81 on December 25th, 1977 in Spencer, Van Buren Co, TN. She was buried in Town Cemetery, Spencer, Van Buren Co, TN.General Notes
