John was born in 1410 in Dethick, Derbyshire, England.1 John's father was Thomas Babington and his mother was Isabel Dethick. His paternal grandparents were Sir John Babington and Benedicta Warde; his maternal grandparents were Robert Dethick and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died as a war casualty, Battle of Bosworth Field, at the age of 75 on August 22nd, 1485 in Ambion Hill, Leicestershire, England.1 -
