Bertha Irene BUCKLES 
Bertha Irene was born on April 20th, 1884 in Hardin Co., Kentucky.1 Bertha Irene's father was James Francis BUCKLES and her mother was Julia Ann SKEES. Her paternal grandparents were Alfred BUCKLES and Susan Elizabeth BOARMAN. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Alfred Edward, Phillip Leo, Francis Ralph, Anna Philomenia, Mary Maude, Susan Beatrice and Margaret Ellen. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 51 on April 30th, 1935 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., Illinois. She was buried in Pawnee Calvary Cemetery.1 2 -
