Charles BROWNING Sr. 
Charles was born in 1754 in Culpeper Co., VA.. Charles' father was Nicholas Browning and his mother was Sarah WASHBURN. His paternal grandparents were Francis Browning and Elizabeth Carter Lloyd. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Enos, Francis, Sarah, Jean, Mary and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 67 in 1821 in Virginia.General Notes
