John Aske

John was born in 1505 in Aughton, Yorkshire, England.¹ John's father was John Aske and his mother was Eleanor (Ellen) Ryther. His maternal grandparents were Ralph Ryther and Katherine of Constable. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Christopher, Anthony, Robert, Ann, Julian and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children.
