Dorothy Aske 
Dorothy was born in 1553 in Aughton, Yorkshire, England.1 Dorothy's father was Robert Aske and her mother was Ann Sutton. Her paternal grandparents were John Aske and Eleanor (Ellen) Ryther. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert, Christopher, William, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the youngest of the seven children.-
