George Anderson

George was born in 1654 in Skye, Scotland.¹ George's father was John Anderson and his mother was Susannah Hamilton. His paternal grandparents were John Anderson and Barbara Gilhagie; his maternal grandparents were James Hamilton and Margaret Muir. He had five brothers and nine sisters, named Alexander, James, Ninian, John, William, Barbra, Susanna, Janet, Margaret, Christian, Susannah, Rebecca, Margaret and Isobell. He died at the age of 100 in 1754.¹
