Adalbert was born in 0670 in Strasbourg, Alsace-Lorraine, France.1 Adalbert's father was Adalric Alsace and his mother was Berswinde (Bersvinda) Alsace. His paternal grandparents were Lendisius Alsace and <Unknown>. He had a brother named Eticho II. He was the older of the two children.
