Clarence Reed Allen 
Clarence Reed was born on March 14th, 1916 in Larue County, Kentucky. Clarence Reed's father was Emmett M. Allen and his mother was Lona 'Lonis' Bell Pierce. His maternal grandparents were William Monroe 'Rowe' Pierce and Mary Atwood Warren. He had a brother and a sister, named William Walter and Anna Mae. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 83 on January 17th, 2000 in Hodgenville, Larue County, Kentucky. He was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Church, LaRue County, Kentucky.General Notes

Attended the Church of God in Hodgenville.
Survivors: wife, Cora Ellen BREWER ALLEN; daughters, Martha FARMER, Virginia BASHAM, Wanda WALKER and Marietta COOPER, all of Louisville, and Gracie MARTIN of Shelbyville; sons, Wallace ALLEN, Robert ALLEN, Clarence Joseph ALLEN and Thomas Ray ALLEN, all of Louisville; brother, Earl ALLEN of Louisville; 31 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday, Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville.
Burial: Otter Creek Cemetery.
