Burnettie Akin 
Burnettie was born on June 17th, 1879 in Kentucky.1 Burnettie's father was America (Mus) Vespucus Akin and her mother was Louisa Ford. Her paternal grandparents were Moses (Elder) Akin and Lydia McCubbin; her maternal grandparents were John R. Ford and Lucinda. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Mary and Mattie. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 87 on January 14th, 1967 in Kentucky. She was buried in Mt. Sherman Cemetery, Larue Co., Kentucky.2 2 -
