Charles Herbert Adair 
Charles Herbert was born on September 28th, 1929 in Doyle, White Co, TN. Charles Herbert's father was James Pleasant Adair and his mother was Crinner Simmons. His paternal grandparents were Pleasant E. Adair and Nancy Jane Simmons. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Russell Pleasant, James Pleasant, Roy Lester, Billy, Vina Lee, Maude Lela, Leffie Mae, Ethel Katherine, Mattie Lee and Mary Ella. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Louis William, Lillie Mae, Maggie Katherine, Beulah and Nola Ellis. He died at the age of 15 on April 22nd, 1945.General Notes
