*Paul Abney 
*Paul was born in 1587 in Leicester, England. *Paul's father was *Edmund Abney and his mother was *Catherine Ludlum. His paternal grandparents were *George Henry Abney and *Ellene Wolesley. He had a brother and three sisters, named Dannett, Maria\Mary, Catherine and Isabel. He died at the age of 48 on June 10th, 1635 in Leicester, England. He was buried in St. Mary's Church, Leicaster, England.1 General Notes
Will proved 18 June 1635. Eldest son, apprenticeship expiring at the Feast of the Purification o our Lady in 1607. They had six sons and seven daughters. He entered pedigree in Visitation of Leicester 1634
