John T. Watts

John T. was born on March 29th, 1897 in Shallotte, Brunswick Co, NC. John T.'s father was Charles Marvin Watts and his mother was Alvenia Simmons. His paternal grandparents were John M. Watts and Malinda 'Linda' E. Proctor. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Martin Luther, Hugh Bernice, Charles Marvin, Clyde, Amos, Malcolm H., Robert Leonard, Anne Priscilla, Victoria and Carrie Lee. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 83 in August 1980 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co, NC.
