James C. Smelser

James C. was born in 1866 in Robertson Co, TN. James C.'s father was William R. Smelser and his mother was Mary Marandah Holman. His maternal grandparents were John Calvin Holman and Winney Ford Roberts. He had a brother and three sisters, named Robert L., Ada L., Lizzie W. and Alma L.. He was the oldest of the five children.
