Helen Marie was born on May 3rd, 1913 in Cumberland Co, TN.  Helen Marie's father was Robert Branford Scarbrough and her mother was Mary 'Molly' Louise Simmons.  Her maternal grandparents were Drury Simmons and Emma Seales. She had a brother and four sisters, named Robert Gordon, Vera Clara E., Hazel Evelyn, Edith Brusha and Lillie B..  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 93 on August 25th, 2006.  She was buried on August 29th, 2006 in Crossville City Cemetery, Crossville, Cumberland Co, TN.
