Margrett Ada was born on January 11th, 1871 in Carroll Co, TN.1   Margrett Ada's father was Sion Parish and her mother was Eliza Jane Montgomery.  Her paternal grandparents were Brodie Parish and Margaret Rogers. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John Brodie, Rufus Clinton, Lucy Lorretta, Sarah Lenora, Josephine and Addie Angeline.  She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Tray Newton, Iris Marie and Martha Lena.  She died at the age of 2 on September 22nd, 1873 in Carroll Co, TN.1
