Ruby Furman Kern

Ruby Furman was born on March 11th, 1893 in Franklin Co, IL.¹ Ruby Furman's father was Gettis Montgomery Berryhill Kern and her mother was Nancy 'Nannie' Lydie Turner. Her maternal grandparents were Monroe L. Turner and Martha Leah Grant. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Clifford D., James Arthur, William, Samuel Jones, Omer D., William Glenn, Pearly May, Nellie L., Carrie, Ivy R. and Lottie Marie. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 29 in 1922 in Hamilton Co, IL.¹
