Owens Lynch was born on November 3rd, 1878 in Okolona, Clark Co, AR.1   Owens Lynch's father was Charles Samuel Cloud and his mother was Sarah Alice Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Owen Cloud and Martha Washington Roberts. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles Albert, William Lindsay, Robert Edgar, Mattie Effie, Cordelia Ann, Maria Lou and Leila Alice.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 26 on November 15th, 1904 in Okolona, Clark Co, AR.  He was buried in Okolona Cemetery, Okolona, Clark Co, AR.1 1
