Ida Mae was born on January 25th, 1888 in Paris, Lamar Co, TX.1   Ida Mae's father was John Alonzo Chester and her mother was Sarah Jane Roberts.  Her maternal grandparents were Ryland Roberts and Martha Jane Keel. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James Lee, Hallie Mortimer, Walter Allie, William, Dollie, Lily Pearl and Mary Alma.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 61 on February 14th, 1949 in Coalinga, Fresno Co, CA.  She was buried in Grangeville Cemetery, Kings Co, CA.1 1
