Avery Gentry Cary

Avery Gentry was born on March 26th, 1906 in Carroll Co, TN.¹ Avery Gentry's father was Finley Harrison Cary and his mother was Frances Lee Dora Webb. His paternal grandparents were Abner Henry Harrison Cary and Mary Ann Elizabeth Haywood. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Alvia Octavious, Harvey Clifford, Finley Arco, Abner Allen, Vivian Girldine, Ola Frances, Rutha and Estelle. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 on December 24th, 1975 in El Dorado, Union Co, AR. He was buried on December 26th, 1975 in Shiloh Cemetery, Columbia Co, AR.¹¹
