Mary Ann was born on October 22nd, 1839.1   Mary Ann's father was Solomon Zeigler and her mother was Charity Howard.  Her paternal grandparents were Lucas Zeigler and Anna Buntz; her maternal grandfather was Nathan Howard. She had two brothers and seven sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Lucas, George M., Elizabeth, Caroline, Sarah Ann, Charity Ann, Rachel, Frances, Margaret and Nervin. She had a half-brother named Israel.  She died at the age of 46 on October 15th, 1886 in Screven Co., GA.  She was buried in Parker Cem., Screven Co., GA.1 1
