David Yant

David was born in 1843.¹ David's father was Phillip Yant and his mother was Elizabeth Shroyer. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Yant and Mary Magdalena Rehrig; his maternal grandparents were Leonard Shroyer and Martha. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Eli, Sarah, Mary, Martha and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Joseph.¹
