Preserved Wright 
Preserved was born in Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA.1 Preserved's father was James Wright and his mother was Abigail Jesse. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wright and Margaret Cranbroke; his maternal grandfather was William Jesse. He had three brothers and five sisters, named James, Jonathan, Samuel, Abigal, Helped, Esther, Hanna and Lydia. He died on December 26th, 1740 in Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA.1 General Notes

Preserved Wright inherited the homestead of his father and his grandfather and lived there during his lifetime.
According to Judd (25) vol. 1. p. 24, "In the evening Preserved Wright went to a neighbors home and when the clock was ten he set out for his own home in good health. When he arrived at his own door he fell down and expired in a few minutes without speaking. We are hereby taught the necessity of being always ready for death."
Preserved Wright died intestate. His wife Sarah and brother Moses (Preserved did not have a brother Moses. This might have been his wife's brother.) were appointed executors of his estate. He had a very large estate both real and personal. Hampshire County Probate Record Book, vol. 6, pp. 95, 105, 106.
