Norton Wood

Norton was born on February 3rd, 1875 in Sullivan, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.¹ Norton's father was Solomon Lemuel Wood and his mother was Amanda Doty. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Doty and Jerusha Wright. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Frank L., Welland, Ernest, Mary Gates, Elizabeth, Grace, Lydia, Leila and Katherine. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 72 on November 30th, 1947.¹
