Jacob H was born in 1822.1   Jacob H's father was Jacob Wire and his mother was Anna Hager.  His paternal grandparents were William Wire and Elizabeth Hermit; his maternal grandparents were John Hager and Elizabeth Weise. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William, John, Phillip, Morris, Warren, Elizabeth, Mary (Polly), Catherine, Eve (Effie), Margaret and Permelia.  He was the second youngest of the twelve children.1
