Joane was born before December 25th, 1592 in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.1   Joane's father was Matthew Wing and her mother was Mary Unknown. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Fulke, Thomas, John Matthew, James, Matthias, Sarah, Elizabeth and Sibill.1
