Henry James was born on September 27th, 1818.1   Henry James' father was Elihu Wilson and his mother was Katherine Tullos.  His paternal grandparents were James Wesley Wilson and Ann Gordon; his maternal grandparents were John Tullos and Elizabeth. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Elihu, John Berrian, Stephen Alfred, Eli Wesley, Andrew James, Caroline, Ann Elizabeth and Laura.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 42 on June 27th, 1861.1
