Elizabeth was born in 1651 in MA.1   Elizabeth's father was George Way and her mother was Elizabeth Smith.  Her maternal grandmother was Joanna Smith. She had two brothers and four sisters, named George, Thomas, Joanna, Alice, Agnes and Mehitable.  She was the oldest of the seven children.1
