John S Watson 
John S was born on February 14th, 1765 in Rutland Massachusetts.1 John S' father was John Watson and his mother was Thankful Watson. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Watson and Margarette Gray; his maternal grandparents were John Watson and Elizabeth. He had a brother and a sister, named Samuel Smith and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had two half-sisters named Thankful and Jane. He died at the age of 85 on March 24th, 1850 in Unadilla Livingston Michigan.1 General Notes

John and Susanna lived in Rutland, where their first child was born and then moved to Hinsdale where the remainder of their children were born. In April, 1810, the removed to Boston Purchase, New York, and settled on the southwest corner lot of Richford, where Daniel P Witter lived in 1888. There Susanna died on March 24, 1838, and was buried in the back of the Congregational Church. John removed to Unadilla, Michigan, where he died on March 24, 1850, aged eighty-four years.
