John was born in 1500 in Holme On Spaldin, YORKSHIRE, England.1   John's father was John Watson and his mother was Margaret Unknown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Robert, Thomas, Agnes and Margaret.  He was the oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 68 on August 31st, 1568 in Holme On Spaldin, YORKSHIRE, England.1
