Eli Voyles 
Eli was born about 1802 in NC or TN.1 Eli's father was Samuel Voyles and his mother was Elizabeth Unknown. His paternal grandparents were John Voyles and Mary Unknown. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Abel, Samuel H., Margaret, Elizabeth, Nancy Ann, Rebecca and Julia Ann. He was the second oldest of the eight children.1 -
