Elmina was born on August 27th, 1886 in Springville, Utah, Utah.1   Elmina's father was Alfred Voyce and her mother was Laura Emma Fifield. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, Henry, Mark, Frank, Clarance, Ezra, Melinda, Annie and Emma.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 21 on September 11th, 1907.1
