John was born in 1650 in New Haven, New Haven, Conn.1   John's father was John Thomas and his mother was Tabitha Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, Samuel, Joseph, Sarah, Tabitha and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 62 in 1712 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.1
