Ann was born about 1624 in Milford, New Haven, Connecticut.1   Ann's father was Edmund Tapp and her mother was Elizabeth Charde. She had three sisters named Elizabeth, Jane and Mary. She had three half-brothers and twelve half-sisters, named Thomas, Edmund\Edward, Thomas, Johanna, Abigail, Unknown, Hepzibah, Mary, Ann, Hannah, Aaron, Joan, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary.  She died in 1701.1
