Peter was born about August 18th, 1743 in RARITAN, SOMERVILLE, New Jersey.1   Peter's father was Johannes Swick and his mother was Barbara Egie Covert.  His maternal grandparents were Hans Teunnise Covert and Jannitze Brokaw. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Johannes, Tunis, Martin, Egie and Jannetie.1
