Jennie was born on September 20th, 1894 in Childsdale, Mi    (rockford).1   Jennie's father was John Stouten and her mother was Josephine Fernambucq.  Her paternal grandparents were Hubrecht Stouten and Adriana VerLoo? VanLouw; her maternal grandparents were Cornelius Fernambucq and Maria Helena DeJager. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Herbert, James, Mary and Martha.  She was the second oldest of the five children. She had a half-sister named Hermeane.  She died at the age of 90 on February 15th, 1985 in Grand Rapids, Mi.1
