Martha Sherman

Martha was born before December 22nd, 1745 in Baptised Second Church of Christ, Marshfield, Massachusetts.¹ Martha's father was William Sherman and her mother was Elizabeth Lapham. Her paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Sherman and Margaret Decrow; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Lapham and Hannah Rogers. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Joseph, Betsey, Lydia, Eleazer, Hannah, Margaret, Abigail and Desire. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died in Marshfield, Plymouth, Massachusetts.¹
