1 Rebecca's father was John Sharpless and her mother was Hannah Pennell. Her paternal grandparents were John Sharpless and Jane Moor; her maternal grandparents were Robert Pennell and Hannah Hyandson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Caleb, John, Daniel, Hannah, Margaret, Ann, Jane and Phoebe.1 -
