Matthew Scribner

Matthew was born in 1708 in Norwalk, CT.¹ Matthew's father was Benjamin Scribner and his mother was Mrs. B. Scribner. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Scribner and Hannah Crampton. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Stephen, Abraham, Hannah, Rachel, Lydia, Elizabeth, Isabel, Ruth and Abigail. He was the oldest of the ten children.¹
