Helen was born before 1789.1   Helen's father was James Rochelle and her mother was Margaret Evans. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Anderson, James, George Evans, John, Margaret Evans Larkin, Arabella, Charlotte Lavaune, Cynthia and Tabitha Dorcas.1
