Theophilis was born in August 1665.1   Theophilis' father was Thomas Rix and his mother was Bridget Musket.  His paternal grandfather was Robert Rix. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, James, Benjamin, Joseph, Samuel, William, Remember, Sarah and Martha.1
