Martha Catherine Rickert 
Martha Catherine was born on November 23rd, 1877 in Bissell, Colfax County, Nebraska.1 Martha Catherine's father was John Ludvig (Rickers) Rickert and her mother was Catherine Elizabeth Heibel. Her paternal grandparents were John Johann Rickers and Anna Katherine Borchers; her maternal grandparents were Valentine (Heupbel) Heibel and Angelika "Anna" "Gela" Reitz. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Carl Oscar, John Ludvig Valentine, Bertha, Clara, Anna Louise, Maria "Mary" Catherine and Kate. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 84 on February 12th, 1962 in Columbus, Nebraska.1 -
