Robert W. Phelps 
Robert W. was born on April 14th, 1832.1 Robert W.'s father was Elijah Beardsley Phelps and his mother was Jane Wright. His paternal grandparents were William Rathburn Phelps and Tamar Canfield. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named William Rathburn, George, Charles Hunter, Chauncey, James, John W., Silas S., Sarah, Anna Eliza, Amanda, Tamar Ann, Caroline and Mary Elizabeth.
