Elizabeth Paine 
Elizabeth was born about 1545 in Newton, Suffolk, , England.1 Elizabeth's father was William Paine and her mother was Margery Ash. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Paine and Elizabeth Walton. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named George, Nicholas, Edward, Anthony, Thomas, Henry, John, Agatha, Agnes, Anna and Frances. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.1 -
